E̜styǟkur Woltsi Hadfow was built using the conventions of Wood Elf durring the early 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and E̜styǟkur Woltsi Hadfow is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

E̜styǟkur Woltsi Hadfow is buildings are arranged arround a single restrictive cobblestone mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the city a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The city has a defencive wall made from querried stone. The wall is equipped with a full set of battlments but the nature of its construction methodology leaves it somewhat vulnerable to siege equipment. That said, the city is well defended against anything short of an army. Unfortuantly, these cost-cutting-focused defences are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

History

E̜styǟkur Woltsi Hadfow's residents established a new industry 4 years ago, and it’s making them a great deal of profit. Old patterns of authority and wealth are being disrupted, and the old gentry are unlikely to be pleased about it. They may be trying to take over the industry, or they may have been the ones to enable it in the first place and are using it to crush the life out of any rival power bases. Outsiders might be playing a major role as well, and it could be they plot to siphon off the profits.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, E̜styǟkur Woltsi Hadfow was attacked by members of a peasant revolt. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is E̜styǟkur Woltsi Hadfow lost 193 people, 126 livestock, and 31 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 65, when members of E̜styǟkur Woltsi Hadfow's militia enacted an operation to eliminate a specific group of the enemy's forces. The operation was complicated by gale force winds which drowned out orders and hampered ranged combat. The conflict ended with needing to break through the enemy's lines, which ended in a crushing defeat for E̜styǟkur Woltsi Hadfow's forces. The war is remembered in legend by E̜styǟkur Woltsi Hadfow's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
